How It All Started

Adventure Armour began on a lakeside camping trip in rural Nova Scotia. Our family arrived at a cozy cottage nestled by the water—and to our surprise, not a single bug in sight. Curious, we explored the yard and discovered the secret: lemongrass. The owner had planted it all around, and it was naturally keeping the bugs away.

That moment sparked an idea. With our Golden Retriever, Thor—a true tick magnet—as our inspiration, we got to work. After a summer of pulling ticks off his adorable face, we knew we had to find a safe, natural way to protect him. We dove into research, testing blends, and perfecting a recipe using carefully chosen carrier oils and proper dilution.

The result? A simple, powerful bug spray made with love, science, and a whole lot of tail-wagging adventures.
